Hello! My name is Isabel Velez, and I am a senior at UMass Dartmouth. My major is Health and Society so pollution is a main concern to someone in my major. Pollution causes 60% of deaths in Colombia, besides death it also causes major health complications with many of its citizens. Since my family is originally from Colombia, its only seemed fitting to do a project which happens to be based off of my mothers home city. Along with it being my mothers home city I still have family members that live in one of the most polluted areas. With this website it will bring awareness to others on how heavily polluted the air is in Medellin, Colombia.
